Inspections, classifications and branding 2011 - please enquire for dates in February and March.

Since the foundation of Studbook Kinnordy in 2003, annual registrations of broodmares, foals, stallions and other horses were conducted in Australia and since 2004 in Australia and New Zealand.

The ‘Best Mare of the Year’ Award is excluding Kinnordy-owned mares.

The result of the broodmare classification is based on the individual marks given for:
a)    Breed & Sex Type
b)    Conformation (head, neck saddle position, frame, forelegs, hindlegs)
c)    Correctness of gaites
d)    Impulsion & elasticity of trot
e)    Walk
f)    General impression & development

An overall full mark is given and stated on the Mare Classification and Registration Certificate. For the Best Mare of the Year Award however, an average (mean) score determines the ranking. Mares entering studbooks A, B or C are included.
The Premium Mare title is only given to eligible mares for Studbook A.
